Boracay DSAT Tech Divers Dive PlanningIf you are interested in technical diving, but haven’t yet met the prerequisites for the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course, you can consider enrolling in the DSAT Apprentice Tec Diver course. It is also a sub course of the full DSAT Tec Deep Diver course.

The intended working limit for a diver of this grade is 40 metres/130 feet with up to 10 minutes of non-accelerated decompression while breathing up to EANx50.

The program takes 4 days and consists of 4 knowledge developments, 4 practical application and 7 training dives.

During the knowledge developments, you will learn about risks & responsibilities, equipment, gas planning, team diving, techniques & procedures, emergency procedures, etc.

During the practical applications you will learn how to set up your technical equipment and how to plan your dives with deco software.

Since it’s part of the Tec Deep Diver course, the DSAT Apprentice Tec Dive course training credits toward the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course.

The maximum depth of the training dives is to 40 meters

Course prerequisites:

* PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
* PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
* PADI Deep Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
* Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, of which at least 10 must be enriched air dives, 12 must be deeper than 18 metres/60 feet and at least six must be deeper than 30 metres/100 feet
* Minimum age: 18 years old

Tec 40m / 130ft package:

* Gases and technical dive equipment
* 7 training dives including boat fees
* 3 night accommodation at bluemango inn, w/breakfast for two

$400 US Dollars / $200 without package deal.

* If off peak season, Christmas, Chinese new year period.
